Ya i'm not sure how to think about this? whats more fake... this fight or the easter bunny picture? Sad when theres no obvious answer to a question like that...
Audrina's Fake? Tattoo!

Ok. So. Audrina went out and got herself a new Tattoo, Thursday. At first look it appears that she had some Chinese proverb or something written on her arm, but APPARENTLY it translates to "pork oil fried rice", or something along those lines. Essentially, there are three options here: 1)BIG mistake in translation a-la Britney, 2) Audrina REALLLLLLY like pork fried rice, or 3) Ashton Kutcher is behind this.
You know what blows? I think this Pop Fiction show has the potential to be really wicked...they just need to come up with some less obvious stuff...so disappointing!!!

The Hills MOVIE?!?!

Published by Josh Horowitz on Thursday, March 27, 2008.
Next to a big screen version of “King of Queens” (Leah Remini just got very excited somewhere), is there a better idea in the history of the universe than turning “The Hills” into a movie? Probably, but I can’t think of one at the moment.
Well, none other than Lauren Conrad told me the other day that it may happen (check out my full report from my interviews with all the ladies of “The Hills” here). “We have kind of talked about it,” she said with a big smile that seemed to say, “we have ABSOLUTELY talked about it.”
So that begs the question, what the hell would a movie of “The Hills” be?
Said Conrad, “I think if they were going to do a film of the hills they would basically film it like we do the show and they would just edit it into a movie. It would be like a really long episode.” Well that doesn’t really sell it all that well but maybe if you see her say it, it will sound better.
Call Heidi and Spencer....Really!
Call (310) 220-0244 to tell Heidi how much you love her new single, or her music video, or what a feminist heroine she is, or to shout TEAM HEIDI... or whatever!
Call (310) 220-0215 to tell Spencer how much you love what a douche he is, or to ask him some advise, maybe he will feature it in his advise column for Radar magazine "YO SPENCER", or maybe you wnt to propose he marry you...I dunno...
Audrina on CW11 in New York
THATS where the Justin-Bobby comes from!!! He seems a little less random now, Im kinda disappointed!
enjoy!

Heidi's Newest Single: "No More"
Supposedly about Spencer. My thoughts? Well first of all, if the song is negative, and its about someone specifically, maybe you dont want them A) managing your career, and B) speaking at the beginning of the song.
The actual song? Its ok. It had me groovin a little, definately better than her others. But she still cant sing...I would probably like the song if it didnt sound like a computerized alien was singing it. Can anyone say Auto-tune?
Doesnt Audrina sing? Lets get her to sing it and see if we like it then...
Thoughts?
The Hills Recap: Season 3.5 episode 1
So the girls have the same brilliant ideas in Paris that they do in LA - mistake one - getting the ball gowns first cause then the shoe store, where they have to pick up shoes for the models is closed! brilliant idea gals!
Ok so they get the shoes the next morning and head to their first task...a photoshoot...and HERE is when Lauren recieves the phonecall...yep. THE phone call from Audrina (her only moment in the episode WTF?!?!) about Brody's new GF.
Lauren does NOT look pleased. But Whitney insists that they can totally find boys way cooler than Brody in Paris. So the go to the bar to meet up with the boys from the band "Rock N Roll", who apparently Lauren and Audrina had met in LA when they were seeing another band. PS these boys are even more creeptacular than one could tell from the previews.
The band decides that it would be a good idea to take the girls (and a bottle of champagne) to the Eiffel Tower at night to watch it sparkle. Again I wont make fun, cause its really pretty and lovely and special and I understand that fully!
Ok the next night Lauren comes up with her NEXT brilliant idea. When she doesnt have a party dress to go out with the paresian rockers Whitney jokes "we always have our ballgowns" well lauren takes it seriously, choosing to temoporarily shorten the dress. Always sensible, Whitney's face says it all.
Also, I find it hard to believe Lauren didnt pack an appropriate dress for ALL occasions...especially when you see the luggage they brought!!
...So Whitney was right to be uncomfortable about Lauren wearing the dress out While she managed to keep the dress from all harm while they went out to the fancy Paresian bar, she discovers the next morning that she has left her culing iron on....right next to where the dress was hanging, and there were curling iron burn marks on the fabric in the morning. Of course Lauren freaks out and delegates Whitney to call the dress shop so she can get a new one. Of course, they agree after telling her she will have to take responsibility for the first one (which she did ... as we see her putting the burned dress into her suitcase at the end).
The best part is that they're freaking out cause they only have an hour to get to the ball... but they arent dressed, they dont have their makeup done, or their hair did....riiiight...and hour.
So all goes well at the ball, Whitney tells Kimball she sees herself more in styling, Lauren does more bitch work...the usual.
and THEN Mattieu asks Lauren to go on a midnight tour of Paris with him, to which she agrees, and so she gets on his vespa, in the rain, in her SECOND ball gown saying "theres no ladylike way to do this is there?". Thats thinkin!!!!
And then they leave Paris...and so comes the Paris montage. Cut to Whitney looking out the car window...cut to the Eiffel tower...cut to Lauren looking out the window with a sad longing face...cut to a different view of the Eiffel Tower...Created by Adam Divelo (loaded), executive produced by Liz Gately (Uber-loaded).
On the Heidi/Spencer side of the world...
Cut to Crested Butte (yaaa ill keep it shut about the name of that place), Colorado.
Spencer decides its a good idea if he goes to visit Heidi, against the advise of his sister (who I am beginning to think of as less and less of the she-devil). But when he shows up, he doesnt really recieve a greeting that is at all...shall we say... warm
"what the heck are you doing here" says Heidi's stepdad, Tim. .... and there was a SERIOUS awkward moment between the two that was just so deliiciously horrid and uncomfortable!!!
But even BETTER is when Heidi returns from her ski adventure with her mom and we see Spencer sittin on the couch...having a really nice heart felt conversation with Tim...oh wait that didnt happen....instead he sat on his blackberry while Tim made really annoyed faces that CRACKED me up.
Ok so the family plus Spencer go out for a nice dinner, and Heidi makes a really beautiful toast to her"parents who have always loved and supported (her) and ....thats about it" LOL!!!!!
But Heidi needing space is all about Spencer. Of course. and they have a nice argument at dinner infront of the 'rents. Spencer is his usual condescening, stupid self and Heidi, was surprisingly strong and oddly...I felt a little proud. Im sensing a Heidi comeback...but thats just me.
Heidi and Spence have another fight, Heidi tells Spence she feels like shes in a "one way relationship" to which Spencer responds "you're about to be in one" to which she responds "when I get back to LA you should be moved out". SNAP!

Famous for What?
Lauren Conrad featured in the Wall Street Journal
The MTV reality star wants to build a brand around her image. First she has to prove her credibility.
By KATHERINE ROSMANMarch 21, 2008; Page W1
Lauren Conrad is famous for being on a reality show. But what she really wants is to run a merchandising empire.
Ms. Conrad, 22, is the star of "The Hills," the reality show that was MTV's highest-rated program last fall. For the past two years, cameras have captured her days as a fashion-magazine intern and nights as a club-hopper who flirts with guys and spars with friends. To translate her fame into a fashion career, she and her father have hired a team of Hollywood-industry advisers and signed several licensing and endorsement deals. The process isn't always smooth. The network that made her famous won't promote her enterprises on air. And Ms. Conrad, determined to assert her fashion vision, sometimes ignores the suggestions of her more seasoned advisers.
Ms. Conrad styles a model for her first fashion show.
"I'm sure a lot of people don't take me seriously," she says.
Many young celebrities are trying to follow the success of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who parlayed roles on a TV sitcom into a multimillion-dollar conglomerate that has sold books, videos, films and clothes. Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton have made licensing deals based on pop-music success and a famous last name. Ms. Conrad represents the next generation of branders -- reality stars who are famous only for their willingness to let cameras into their private lives. Last week, Ms. Conrad's nemesis on "The Hills," Heidi Montag, announced her own plans to launch a clothing line. And from E! Entertainment Television reality show "Sunset Tan," tanning-salon owners Devin Haman and Jeff Bozz recently came out with a line of tanning moisturizers.
To keep themselves in the spotlight, Ms. Conrad and her contemporaries are willing citizens of a tabloid world. During a recent breakfast interview at an outdoor café in Los Angeles, Ms. Conrad said she suspected a photographer was taking pictures of her from across the street. She declined to move to an inside table. Instead, she looked left and right before taking quick bites of her egg whites. "No one eats pretty," she said.
WSJ's Katherine Rosman talks to celebrity branding expert Ryan Schinman, president and CEO of Platinum Rye Entertainment. He says new media like YouTube have ushered in the era of the Insta-Celebrity. (March 21)
Less than three hours later, Ms. Conrad sent her breakfast companion an email with a photo attached of her enjoying her eggs. She had found the photo after a Google search. "Haha they always get it!" she wrote.
Ms. Conrad's team monitors the star's symbiotic relationship with the press. It's essential that she hit the hot spots, where tabloid photographers lurk. Yet because Ms. Conrad's corporate relationships benefit from her good-girl image, they want her to go to a lot of parties without partying a lot.
When Ms. Conrad turned 21, her publicist, Nicole Perez, sat down with her client to discuss responsible drinking. "It's the same conversation you'd have as a parent with a child," she says. Ms. Conrad's parents watch over her, too, by logging on to gossip blogs. If their daughter appears too tipsy in a photo, she hears from them. "We will tell her to ratchet it back," says her father, Jim Conrad.
She is a target for hangers-on because of her fame. Yet many guys in Los Angeles won't date her for the same reason, she says. Stars of other reality shows are often contractually barred from showing up on rival programs, and aspiring actors don't want to jeopardize their credibility by appearing on those shows. An off-camera boyfriend is not explicitly forbidden by her contract with MTV, she says, but it violates the spirit of her deal. "This is what I signed up for," she says.
In episodes that aired last fall, Ms. Conrad had a casual relationship with Brody Jenner, the 24-year-old son of Olympian Bruce Jenner. The younger Mr. Jenner has tried to achieve his own reality-TV success on the short-lived "Princes of Malibu" on Fox. Last year he was featured on the E! reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." Ms. Conrad says that she and Brody "have an odd relationship" but she is happy to have him in her life. "He's a cute guy who's OK with filming," she says.
Ms. Conrad's journey from adolescence to celebrity-tabloid fodder began in 2004, when MTV producers chose her as a central character on "Laguna Beach," a reality show about high-school students. It was "just something fun for Lauren to do," says her father from the living room of his cliffside home in Laguna Beach. Mr. Conrad, a 48-year-old architect and real-estate developer, now helps manage his daughter's career. He does not take a fee.
The star makes money on her clothing line only if it is profitable. Kitson boutique owner Fraser Ross says it's selling well. Will it catch on with nonfans? "It's too early to tell," he says. Ms. Conrad teamed up with leather-goods maker Linea Pelle on a line of bags ($45 to $350), sold online only. The company says it has sold "hundreds."
Soon after the program's debut, the Conrads hired an agent, Max Stubblefield, who now works in the alternative television department of United Talent Agency. At their first meeting, Ms. Conrad said she wanted to be a fashion designer. Mr. Stubblefield recommended a simple strategy: Only accept opportunities with a tie to fashion. "We always ask, 'What does this do for the brand?' " he says.
In 2006, MTV approached Ms. Conrad, who was then enrolled in fashion school, with the idea for "The Hills." The network would get her an internship at Teen Vogue and follow her four days a week as she learned about fashion and Los Angeles nightlife. Last fall, a first-run episode drew an average of nearly four million viewers, more than half between the ages of 12 and 24, according to Nielsen Co. In one episode, she shouts to her roommate in a crowded bar: "I just found an adorable boy from London with an accent who's leaving tomorrow. Jackpot!" (The next installation of episodes begins Monday.)
Mr. Stubblefield began fielding licensing and endorsement offers after the show's debut. Since 2006, Ms. Conrad has signed up for deals with a toy company, a leather-goods maker and a cosmetics line. Ms. Conrad's team says it has refused a number of other offers, including a jewelry-licensing deal with a home shopping network. A department store offered to pay a six-figure fee to put her name on a clothing line but wouldn't give her any design input. "I wanted to have full creative power," she says.
To help her get her current clothing line, MTV approached Steve Friedman, the owner of Tangerine Promotions in suburban Chicago. The firm specializes in "tchotchkes, trinkets and trash" with company logos, he says, and MTV is one of his biggest clients. Although Tangerine has no experience in contemporary women's apparel, Mr. Friedman agreed to team up with MTV. The two companies share the financial risk.
Celebrity licensing deals are generally based on large advance payments and a royalty rate, often about 10%. "These are glamour deals that are largely based on the intangible appeal of a celebrity," says Aviva Rosenthal, a partner at Act III Licensing, an agency in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Ms. Conrad received no advance payment from Tangerine, but it did grant her creative control. Of all of her commitments, she says, "I spend the most amount of time on the line, and it's the thing that makes me the least amount of money."
Ms. Conrad says she's trying to create a line of clothes that she and her friends would wear. Her latest collection, for fall, is made up primarily of strapless dresses and halter tops in white, black and deep purple. She has insisted that her pieces be made from high-end cotton jersey and manufactured in the U.S. Prices range from $44 for a tank top to $220 for a dress. While the cost is high for the young fans of "The Hills," Mr. Friedman says he is unconcerned. "This isn't a souvenir line," he says.
Shortly before Ms. Conrad's first runway show last Tuesday, she met with several advisers and assistants to prepare. Accessories were a focal point. "We need to fall it up," Ms. Conrad said, as she gave a pair of leather gloves to a model in a strapless dress. Ms. Conrad explained that her trip as a Teen Vogue intern to Paris influenced her designs. As she recorded which accessories the models would wear, she called out, "How do you spell 'beret'?"
On hand that day were Sherry Wood, a Los Angeles fashion designer with 25 years of experience who was hired to oversee the line and mentor Ms. Conrad, and Jeffrey Relf, a runway-show producer. While Ms. Conrad selected high-heeled shoes for most of the models, Mr. Relf told her some of the models needed to wear knee-high boots for dramatic effect. When one model tried on the boots, Ms. Conrad said, "If a girl walked down the street in this, I wouldn't think it was cute."
"We are talking about the runway, not real life," Mr. Relf said.
Later that afternoon, Mr. Relf explained that experienced designers usually defer to his advice, and that Ms. Conrad had finally agreed that a few models would wear boots. "Lauren's open and that's not how a lot of celebrities are," he said.
During the show, however, the models did not wear boots. "It didn't look good," Ms. Conrad says.
Earlier this year, Kitson, a boutique in a Beverly Hills shopping district, offered to host a party to celebrate the collection. Kitson parties are known for attracting a lot of press. Ms. Conrad preferred to have the party at Intuition, a smaller boutique in an area with less foot traffic. Her publicist, Ms. Perez, says she pushed for Kitson, telling her client: "Lauren, we could make it huge -- every magazine would cover it." The party was at Intuition. "It didn't get a lot of coverage," Ms. Perez says.
"I try really hard to separate myself from other celebrity brands," Ms. Conrad says.
Her first collection, for spring 2008, just arrived in stores. The Lauren Conrad Collection now appears in nearly 500 boutiques. A spokeswoman for Holt Renfrew, a Canadian department store, says that in the last two weeks, the line has generated a 28% sell-through rate (the percentage of items bought at full retail price) at its nine locations. An average sell-through rate at the stores is just over 10%.
The line hasn't benefited from exposure on "The Hills," because cameras do not follow Ms. Conrad when she works on the clothing line. "The celebrity that comes from the show, we don't cover," says Executive Producer Adam DiVello. Ms. Conrad says she is happy the line is not on the show because it would detract from her credibility as a designer.
The job of promoting Ms. Conrad to an older audience falls to Ms. Perez. She has gotten her client on the cover of teen magazines. But Ms. Perez hasn't been able to land what she considers a coveted prize: a cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.
"Playing yourself on reality television isn't to our reader the level of accomplishment that you need to have on the cover of Cosmo," says Kate White, the magazine's editor in chief.
Ms. Conrad says she will continue to work hard to prove herself as a designer. She's designing a line of T-shirts. She wants to do "a best friend project" -- most likely a line of furniture -- with one of her roommates. And she plans to launch a charitable foundation. "I don't think I should be criticized for taking advantage of an opportunity to realize my dream," she says. "It'd be silly not to."

Lauren vs. USmagazine, Lauren vs. Audrina & Brody, Lauren vs. her foot(in her mouth)...

Thursday March 20, 2008
For Lauren Conrad, betrayal has been a fact of life.
"I want to say I can always trust my good friends that I've had forever, but at the same time, some of my oldest friends have betrayed me," the Hills star reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.
For the first time, Conrad opens up to Us in an exclusive interview about how ex Brody Jenner went public with a new girlfriend just days after she left for Paris while best friend Audrina Patridge buried the hatchet with Conrad's ex-BFF, Heidi Montag.
"At this point, I have to question every person that wants to have a relationship with me, whether it's a friendship or a romantic relationship," she tells Us.
The latest betrayals have been especially difficult for Conrad, who battled sex-tape rumors allegedly spread by Montag and caught one-time beau Jason Wahler in a liplock with another girl.
"Audrina has to remind me that she's not someone who's going to betray me," Conrad, 22, says pointedly.
As for Jenner's rebound, she says, "When you have that type of thing, you always have to question, 'Why wasn't I good enough?'"
"It's disappointing to have to question relationships," she adds.
YIKES!!!! If I'm Audrina or Brody I am not a happy camper right now. Lauren prooooobably realised that too when she read the article. So she turned to her myspace blog, where she wrote the following yesterday after the article came out (still (T-minus 4 days till season 3 pt.2 premiere):
"Hey! I just wanted to take a moment to clear something up. I recently did
an interview to talk about the show coming back on and what everyone had to look
forward to. Unfortunately it was turned into yet another "poor me" story. The
article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent
my words or feelings. I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or Brody. I love them
both and said nothing to contradict this. I understand that headlines sell
magazines, but I value my friendships above magazine sales any day.
On a
more positive note, I got to see some of the first episode yesterday and it
looks amazing. I’m sooooooo excited for everyone to see Paris. Best wishes and I
hope everyone tunes in Monday."
Ok so now if I am USmagaizine I'm all...daaaaammmn them are fightin' words...see if I ever put you or anyone on your show in my mag again let along on the cover!!! Which once again Lauren (or her publicist) realised post-post. So she (or her publicist) released this statement today (T-minus 3 days till season 3 pt.2 premiere)
"It was never my intention to criticize Us Weekly as I have a great relationship
with them. My statement was only meant to support and stand by my friends."
Ok so foot-out-of-mouth right? ok maybe. maybe not. lol cause TMZ has taken this story and tapped into their plethora of inside sources to discover that apparently Lauren's words were not twisted at all. Instead they report that
"A source at Us Weekly tells (TMZ) MTV execs loved the cover- and the storyline
matched exactly what they're promoting for the "Hills" season opener on March
24," and that Lauren only posted the original blog message out of fear that she
might now lose her best bud Audrina after she "'went into a rage' when she read
the article". After all, lest we forget (TMZ reminds us) that Aud had a " 'very
emotional week' (naked pictures and all)" ...but that was wednesday (T-minus 5
days till season 3 pt.2 premiere)
Its all quite dramatic! Reminds me of my friends really...kinda a dramatic group... we just dont have TV cameras and USmag putting us on their covers...lol. But thats unimportant. So what IS important here. well lets find the common demoniator...The Hills, Season 3 pt.2 premiers Monday, March 24th!!!

Lauren Conrad on Letterman
I almost didn't post this...Im just kinda sick of seeing the same interview over and over....
Audrina ..why oh why...
Her rep made a statement to TMZ
"I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn't know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me."
Tough lesson to learn. I wont post the pics ...
... but they did!

Lauren on Brody: "I didn't even..."
NY Daily News: And Brody [Jenner], your romantic interest from last season, was
in the front row of your fashion
show. Does that mean you’re still together? Lauren Conrad: Honestly, I
didn’t even … I’m going to see them all at the after-party. I’ve been backstage
the entire time. I didn’t get to see my show or anything.
Quite the mysteriously placed pause miss Lauren!!! I really wonder what she was ABOUT to say...
was she tryin to pull the whole we were never dating, we were just friends bull that is either A)all lies or B)is not lies but the show is lies LOL...
I DUNNNOOOOOOO
But Lo seems to think that Stephen is right for Lauren, she was recently quoted as saying
“Honestly, I think Stephen is best for Lauren,It all goes back to friendships.
We have all known each other for so long and that really translates to good
relationships in the long run.”
Heidi Montag...the designer...

Us weekly reports
The Hills star's clothes will appear in nationwide Anchor Blue stores starting this April. Montag's line includes dresses, tops, jeans, bags and jewelry all priced under $60.
"Lauren's line is not necessarily something I would wear - she's trying a high-fashion thing, but it's a little overpriced," Montag tells Us. "Mine is fun and flirty for the everyday woman. Most people can't afford $200 for one dress."
"When we were in school, I was the designer, and she was in, like, product development," Montag tells Us of former best friend Conrad.
Montag is confident her frocks have the competitive edge over former roommate Conrad.
"Throw on flats or heels, you're ready to go!" Montag tells Us.
go here to vote ...lauren vs heidi
I feel like I really should NOT comment on Heidi's clothing line...but here I go against my better judgement....
I take it back, I actually am having trouble finding words....how bout I just say... the line is called Heidiwood for F's Sake!!!!!
Hills/Laguna star preggers??
"This Hills and/or Laguna Beach star is pregnant. Now if we could just figure out the daddy,"
Apparently people thought it was Lauren? Preeeetty sure shes the last person I would have guessed! Anyhoo...her rep is denying it, saying "The only person pregnant in Lauren Conrad's life is her publicist and you can quote me on that," to OK!weekly.
meh. yawn. bored.
I think LALALand needs to get over the baby on board obSESSion!!!!

Cute Fashion Show Interview!
Whitney's Fashion Line!!!

Port doesn't have a degree like Conrad from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (judging by the reviews and tepid applause Conrad got at her show, it doesn't help much anyway), but Port has designer genes (zing!). Her dad Jeff owns the company Swarm, which makes a young-men's line called Shades of Gray. (Swarm — also the nickname of Whitney's seven-member family — is backing Eve & A.) Her line boasts seventeen pieces, including convertible dresses, tops, and jackets that wholesale for $40 to $250 (a bit more than double that for retail), which means, we hope, they'll be pretty decent quality.
Port and Conrad are still interning for public-relations firm People's Revolution. Port even worked the front of the house at L.A. Fashion Week for them. Hey — she and Conrad have to keep their "friendship" and TV show going somehow.

Inside the Sad, Bizarre World That Was the Lauren Conrad Show

Photo: Getty Images
Attending last night’s Lauren Conrad Collection show at L.A.'s Fashion Week felt a lot like being dropped into the middle of an episode of The Hills — potentially juicy, questionably styled, ultimately a bit plotless, and yet strangely amusing. The celebrity turnout was limited to exactly the people you’d expect from that show and its sister soap, Laguna Beach. Well, and Lisa Rinna, who would attend the opening of a mouth. Presumably Putty Lips was there as a buyer for her L.A. store, Belle Grey, because after the show we heard her waxing annoying about how quickly her store sold out of Conrad’s first line; she called the latest collection “fresh, young, innovative…and fresh.” She had one of those things correct. But first, the gossip: We spotted L.C.’s roommate Audrina Patridge wearing a long teal dress and pots of foundation — later, when she almost ran us down in her shiny, white two-door Mercedes Benz, we couldn’t help but notice her car had a Jeannie Bueller air about it that was in sync with Audrina’s weirdly eighties-style eyeliner. Considering she was essentially there to drum up press for MTV, we found it a bit surprising that she actually had to drive herself to the venue. Call your PR person, Audrina. Surely you’ve got one. Inside, Audrina chatted up new regular Hills cast member Lo Bosworth and ol' standby Whitney Port, who looked very tall and pretty in person. In a refreshing moment of modesty, Whitney rather endearingly chose not to walk through the special red-carpet photo-op area and seemed sort of surprised when the photographers wouldn’t let her escape so easily. The girls were seated cheek by jowl with Lauren’s ex Brody Jenner, who spent the entire show tapping his feet to the music and giving finger guns to someone seated across the runway — possibly Lauren’s other ex and maybe-current boyfriend, Stephen Colletti. And because this was very clearly an MTV joint, which requires maximum drama even at a fashion show, we also spotted L.C.’s former arch-rival and ex-girlfriend of both Brody AND Stephen (you’re following this, right?), Laguna Beach’s Kristin Cavallari. She greeted both dudes enthusiastically, wandering into the venue twenty minutes after everyone else (and twenty minutes after they were seated and the media mob had left the runway) and frantically trying to yank up her low-rise jeans to prevent any unfortunate flashing incidents. We overheard her telling a reporter that she is SO single right now, and has NO — emphasis hers — plans to return to reality television, which may effectively quash those pesky rumors that she’s appearing on The Hills. Sadly, considering the circumstances, there were no screaming confrontations, crying jags, bitch slaps, or passionate kisses. Also absent from the venue was anyone recognizable from Lauren’s former place of employment (er, “employment”), Teen Vogue, any celebrities willing to admit they totally love The Hills, or any decent fashion. We don’t say that with (much) glee. We went into the show completely prepared to like it, to be embarrassed by liking it, and to spend the rest of the week being defensive about liking it. This did not happen. Lauren claimed the line was inspired by her recent trip to Paris, and given how obviously and ham-handedly this influence was translated into the clothes, we’re frankly surprised she didn’t style the girls with baguettes and giant wheels of Brie. Let’s just say…there were berets involved, and, overall, the collection was sadly kind of tragique. We expected a line of derivative but serviceably-adorable cocktail dresses much like what Lauren herself wears around town — you know, the type of stuff she probably bought a season ago from BCBG and loved. Instead, we got paper-thin leggings with lazy and plain triangle shirts, cheap-looking fabric more befitting a Target line than anything you’d pay boutique prices for, and a terrible color palette that would give Michael Kors an aneurysm. We understand the desire to strike while the iron of her celebrity is hot, but, overall, the effort felt very young, in the sense that Lauren probably needs a few more years of design school before she’s ready to take on anything this ambitious. Photos do the line more favors than an up-close look — hardly anything was properly fitted, many of the dresses bunched in the back, and one model’s boobs were totally squeezing out of the top of her dress. Our greatest moment of joy was seeing Chantal, the runner-up from last cycle of America’s Next Top Model, strutting down the runway — but even that was tinged with sadness, because, seriously, the girl still cannot walk and may even have regressed since she was last under the tutelage of Miss J. L.C.’s friends tried their best, but mostly they wore very careful non-expressions on their faces. Whitney, in particular, seemed to be holding onto her poker face like grim death, probably because she realized how savaged her friend would be if any actual fashion press had attended. When an obviously relieved Conrad finally came out for her bow, only Cavallari stood for her initially, but the others got up once they realized what was happening and the room was full of extremely polite smiles. So despite all that dramatic potential, in the end, we found ourselves aching for Spencer and Heidi to storm the fortress and cause some real shenanigans. After all, as much as we don’t look to the MTV crowd for edgy fashion inspiration, we really don’t turn to it for lessons in manners. —The Fug Girls

Heidi Montag Secret: There Was "Another Woman"
Thursday March 6, 2008
In the explosive new trailer for the upcoming season of MTV's The Hills, it's evident the tension and drama between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt has escalated. "When we get back to L.A., I need you to move out... I gave up everything for you!" Montag declares. "I'm not the one who wanted to see other people!"
Did Pratt give his number to another girl – or worse?
Montag and Pratt open up exclusively in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, about how another girl rocked their relationship, what to expect from the new season, and the death of Montag's step-brother.
"Spencer and I have really had our ups and downs this past year," Montag tells Us. "I've definitely been betrayed by friends before, but I've never had a boyfriend do this to me."
She adds, "Spencer and I may differ on what it means to cheat."
Pratt, for his part, tells Us, "We're definitely on a roller coaster. I'm not too happy about a lot of things."
Montag and Pratt also reveal that Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavallari was their matchmaker. "Kristin made it all happen," Pratt says. "She said to me, 'I know this girl who's so hot and perfect for you!'"
Check out the latest issue of Us Weekly for the full interview with Montag and Pratt about the betrayal that challenged their two-year romance.
Ok so Spence cheated...blah blah blah whatevs yo! could be true could be bull...usually the latter with these two. I think the important (a word used lightly) thing about this article is the revelation that Kristin Cavallari was their matchmaker...she really IS trouble isnt she. Lauren must dislike this girl even more than when she was on Laguna! It kinda makes me wish that K.Cavallari WOULD be featured on this season of my fav reality crack!

Spencer's Tell-All Book!

"close to signing a deal," for a tell all book. The insider goes on to say that "he will talk about L.C., Brody and everything else you'd wanna know."
Oh my ...just gag me. Can he just go away. I no longer am amused...OK still a LITTLE amused by Spencer, but shame on whomever is publishing this tell-all, cause you know it will be 50% publicity stunt and 50% complete Bullshizz!!

Heidi and Britney...DUET?
This reeeeeks of Spencer! An unreleased demo of Britney Spears' used by the Montag camp as yet another ridiculous publicity stunt.
Can Britney sue? anybody know?
On a sadder, more serious note, it has been reported that Heidi's step brother has died in a freak accident at his work. She says in a statement to TMZ:
"Losing my brother, at an early age is such a tragedy. I just loved him more than anything. He was just so patriotic. He really wanted to go to and help and do all that he could for his country. He felt like it was his duty. I'll really miss him."
My heart goes out.

Brody Parties with 'Girlfriend'? in Vegas!
Ok, so, I'm totally confused. We FINALLY see Brody out with his supposed girlfriend, Cora Skinner. But for real, does she not watch/read entertainment news, he is out with a new girl like every day, and shes never around...oh well. What I find even more entertaining than all the Brody and whoever are they or arent they arguments, is that no matter what, Frankie is by his side. LOL! This picture really says it all, it really makes you wonder who really is the third wheel in this situation.??? LOL.
